Hello, Ladies,
Our March meeting will be next Tuesday, March 17, at 9:30 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church (basement); 1300 N. Davis in Pea Ridge.

We will not need to cut batting this month, so a good time for Show and Tell. What interesting projects have you been working on?

I hope you have also been sewing LOTS of children's quilts. We will have a shipment going to Children's Hospital in Little Rock later this month. Let's make it a BIG one. Please bring your completed quilts and batting scraps to the meeting.

Ladies hope you have a great day Saturday and then get prepared for the cold starting Monday.

If you have any hats ready for the hospital this is the last month to send them until September.
See you all Tuesday morning. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Linda and Cinda

In December, we celebrated this past year's accomplishments during our Christmas gathering. We exceeded our yearly total of over 1000 quilts for the first time since we started in 2018.
We also, recognized Bea Keller for her generous annual financial contributions. Because of her, we have the resources to purchase plenty of fabric and batting. We are so proud of her and of her blessing for our organization. The work we do for critically ill children is close to our hearts. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and acknowledge her special work for our organization.

Hello Ladies,

Our January meeting is this coming Tuesday, January 20, at 9:30. We will move back to meeting at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis, in Pea Ridge.

Please bring completed quilts and batting scraps. We will not be cutting kits so there will be extra time for Show n Tell.

In our search for the "perfect" batting, we have batting from different vendors in our kits that are out in circulation. If you are using one that you particularly like, please bring one of your scraps, so we can identify the vendor.

Cinda will have Year End totals and information to share at the meeting, but I personally want to congratulate you ladies on your sewing efforts this year. We exceeded a yearly total of over 1000 quilts for the first time since we started in 2018. Well done, ladies. You must have exceeded your goals for 2025. What are your goals for 2026?

Thanks to Bea's generous annual donations, we have the resources to purchase plenty of fabric and batting, but we have limited space to store this inventory. It is a balancing act to only keep a small inventory on hand, based on the amount of quilts that are sewn and turned it. What would be nice, is to have more ladies to sew for us. So, please, help us find more sewers. You might also consider sewing an additional one or two more quilts a month. Do we need to increase the number of kits per bag from 6 to 8?? Please share your thoughts at the meeting.

Wishing everyone a very Happy, Safe and Blessed 2026!
Linda Pitts

Good Afternoon Ladies,
Tuesday will be here in just a few short days. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 16, 2025.
Everyone is welcome to pull into the parking lot and unload gifts and your refreshments. If I can, I will leave my truck there so that you can put your finished quilts, hats, and pillows in it.
Then the cars need to be moved to the building that is right behind the Library (it looks like an old gas station). We can't use the library parking lot because there are 3 businesses that share the lot.If you can carpool with other members that would be great also.
I know it is inconvenient but keeping our fingers crossed that we will be back to the church in January. If you have any questions as to where I am talking about parking give me a call. A few cars can probably park across the street at The RIdge Church but that is pantry day for people to get groceries.

Thanks, Cinda

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone is ready for some fun and fellowship this coming Tuesday.

Our Christmas party will be December 16, 9:30 a.m., at the Pea Ridge Library.
Those who wish to participate in the Dirty Santa/White Elephant gift exchange should bring a gift in the $15-$20 price range.

We will be playing Left, Right, Center. So please bring 5 fat quarters to play.

Also bring your favorite refreshments to share. Desserts, veggie tray, Cheese tray, are just a few ideas. SWL will provide drinks, napkins, plates, etc.
We will not be cutting any kits, but please bring your completed quilts. Kits will be available for anyone who wants to stock up for winter weather. If you need anything before the meeting or need Cinda to bring anything to you, please feel free to call her.

We plan on having a great party to celebrate YOU! It is a team effort to keep these quilts, pillows, and knitted hats going to the Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and Springdale.

Hope to see all of you in December.
Linda
