We bring traditions from North, South, East and West in the diaspora with one promise to keep our cultures alive.

Question for you, For how long would our cultures last if we deliberately fail to project and transfer them to our children??

Looking to see your answers in the comments section below.

Gone are the days where people traveled to America ,Europe, and other places and get completely assimilated into their new cultures and reality. Today we proudly tell the world where we come from, what we eat, how we dress, the music we enjoy and above all show respect as our core values tell us across all African cultures.

Opening the stage and dancing with our kids at the Minnesota African Cultural Festival last Saturday was everything. Moments like these remind us why BotangRecords exists — to keep our culture alive for our children, no matter how far from home they are.

If you love what you see, drop a comment and help share the joy. Culture lives when we pass it on.
