Our peers have spent the last few days in Little Rock at the 2026 Arkansas Peer Recovery Conference!

This has been such a great opportunity for our Peer Support Specialists and Peer Supervisor to gather with peers from across the state, learn, share experiences, make new connections, and bring some new ideas and knowledge back home with them.

Peer support is such an important part of what we do at PEARL, and we’re thankful to have a team that continues to show up, grow in their roles, and find new ways to better support the people we serve.

Thank you for showing up and representing PEARL and Northwest Arkansas! We’re so proud to have each of you on our team and hope you’ve enjoyed every minute of this experience!

Big congratulations to Tia, PEARL's Programs Assistant, on earning her Associate of Arts from Crowder College!

Tia is the first in her family to go to college, and she is NOT stopping there. She's currently attending the University of Arkansas to continue her education, studying social work with a minor in political science. Big things ahead for her.

Tia brings so much light to our team and to everyone we serve. Her heart for people shows up in everything she does, and we could not be more proud of her today.

Way to go, Tia! We are cheering you on every step of the way.

A big thank you to our amazing board member, Barbara, for facilitating our second Feel Good Forum at the PEARL Peer Recovery Center last week!

This month’s forum focused on prevention, awareness, and knowing your health. Barbara shared practical information about common infections, signs and symptoms to be aware of, testing and community resources, and ways we can take an active role in protecting our health.

At PEARL, we believe whole-person wellness is an important part of recovery. The Feel Good Forum creates a comfortable, judgment-free space for our community to learn, ask questions, and have honest conversations about topics that impact their health and well-being.

We’re so grateful to Barbara for sharing her time and knowledge with our community!

On Wednesday this week our Programs Manager, Jordan, celebrated 2 years of recovery and we celebrated this milestone with her!

Jordan is a graduate of the PEARL Women’s Recovery Housing program and a graduate of the Benton County Specialty Courts-Arkansas drug court program! She has the perfect mix of lived experience to understand what our program participants are going through and what it takes to push through the tough days.

She has built a beautiful life in recovery with her children, one of whom she had while in our housing program! She has persevered through every challenge in front of her and now she gets to enjoy her life today in recovery with her family.

Please help us congratulate Jordan on 2 years of recovery!! 🎉❤️

We had an awesome milestone at PEARL today for two awesome guys! Britton & Darren both graduated from our Men’s Recovery Housing program!

They are both on track to graduate from the Benton County Specialty Courts-Arkansas Adult Drug Court program as well in the near future.

They both have full-time jobs, their own reliable transportation, a healthy savings account, AND just moved into their own place!

Please help us congratulate Britton & Darren and wish them well on the next step in their recovery journey! We are so proud of you both!

Today, our team got together over lunch, desserts, and plenty of laughs to celebrate something pretty incredible: Traci’s 21 years in recovery! 🎉

Twenty-one years represents a lot of life, growth, and choosing recovery one day at a time.

Since stepping into her role at PEARL, Traci has brought so much passion to the work she does. She chooses each day to show up, meet people where they are, and support our peers as they navigate their own recovery journeys.

Traci, we are so grateful to have you as part of the PEARL team and proud to celebrate 21 YEARS with you. Congratulations!

Please join us in welcoming Tia Wilson to the PEARL team as our new Programs Assistant!

Tia is a person in long term recovery whose passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Arkansas and is a 200-hour trauma-informed yoga instructor with continuing education in Yin Yoga.

Beyond her work and education, Tia volunteers with Teen Action & Support Center (TASC), where she teaches yoga to teens, and with Northwest Arkansas Harm Reduction, continuing to make a difference throughout our community.

We’re excited to have Tia on the PEARL team and look forward to the knowledge and lived experience she’ll bring to the people we serve.

Welcome to the PEARL family, Tia! We’re so glad you’re here.
