As part of the Rogers Lowell Chamber's Kindergarten 2 Jobs (K2J) program, more than 30 local students explored careers in the automotive industry at Landers Toyota.

The visit included a tour of the facility, along with discussions about expected earnings, opportunities for growth, and what soft skills employers seek in their workforce. Students also received valuable tips for communicating with customers and providing quality customer service.

The Rogers Lowell Chamber recently kicked off its 2026–2027 Arvest First Leadership program with a leadership retreat at Camp Heart O’ Hills, setting the stage for a year focused on leadership development and personal growth.

“Through this program, students have the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop their leadership skills, and prepare to make a meaningful impact in our community,” said Javier Hernandez, RLC Director of Community Development.

In partnership with Arvest Bank and Rogers Public Schools, Arvest First Leadership supports the Chamber’s commitment to workforce development by equipping the next generation with the skills and confidence to lead.

Every day, Rogers residents drive on roads, through intersections, and along corridors that have been improved through community investment.

Previous 2018 bond investments made this possible by funding projects including the Uptown, Magnolia Street, and Oak Street overpasses to improve east-west connectivity.

As our community grows, the proposed 2026 bond program will continue investing in streets and transportation, with plans to repair, resurface, or rebuild 50% of the city's streets.

Vote FOR on the 2026 Bond Issue:
The existing 1% local sales tax (1 cent for every $1 of taxable purchases) is not increasing. A FOR vote continues that tax to support long-term investment.
