Girlhood Rising is officially partnering with Crystal Bridges, and our first community event together is:

✨ Taylor Made: Finding Yourself Through Lyrics ✨

If you’ve ever screamed the lyrics in your car, cried during a bridge, or felt completely understood by a Taylor Swift song, this event is for you.

Together, we’ll explore themes of resilience, identity, confidence, and self-worth through Taylor’s storytelling while making friendship bracelets and connecting with others through the experiences that make her music so meaningful.

Because this isn’t really about Taylor.

It’s about us.

It’s about the moments a song helped us feel less alone, find our confidence, understand who we are, or put words to something we couldn’t quite explain ourselves.

As the founder of Girlhood Rising, a mom of two teens, and a lifelong Swiftie, getting to bring these conversations into the community through a partnership with Crystal Bridges feels incredibly special.

While Girlhood Rising focuses on helping girls navigate the messy, beautiful journey of growing up, the themes we’ll be exploring are universal. Questions about belonging, identity, confidence, and self-worth are things we all wrestle with, no matter our age.

Tickets are not required, but if you’re planning to attend, grabbing a free Eventbrite ticket helps us estimate attendance and make sure we have enough supplies for everyone.

What if confidence isn’t something girls have… but something they can learn? 💗

This August, girls ages 11–14 will spend three days building the skills we wish every girl had more of:

✨ Resilience when things don’t go as planned
✨ Confidence to use their voice
✨ A stronger sense of identity
✨ The reminder that they are already enough

Through hands-on activities, meaningful conversations, creative projects, guest speakers, and lots of fun, girls will head into the school year feeling more sure of who they are.

Because encouragement is important.

But sometimes girls need more than encouragement.

They need tools.
