Gems were busy today!!

Another group joined up at the Second Annual Red, White, & Shoes Bash hosted by TASC & Oasis of NWA!

A place for families to grab a meal, enjoy some fun, and grab much needed shoes, socks, and school supplies!

I'm so proud of the work our Service Unit is putting into our community!

Troop 5385 paired with Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists and Wild Ones - Ozark Chapter today at Lake Springdale to pull maple trees and dandelions out of the natural flood drainage park.

Here we GROW!! Stepping outside of your comfort zone is where the magic happens!

Camp Noark is opening June 26-July 1 for campers to attend a volunteer-led week of camp. We will accept Brownies-Ambassadors.

In order to give the girls the best, we still need volunteers. Our goal is to fill all positions by May 20th. Below are what we are still looking to fill.

Activities Coordinator
Sports Coordinator
Kitchen - 1 person
Counselors (as of the time of this post)
** Must be 16 years of age. We know some girls would rather invest in other girls than be at camp as campers.
3 Brownie Counselors
4 Junior Counselors
2 Cadette Counselors
2 Senior/Ambassador Counselors

Our instinct as humans is normally to wait because someone else will step up. Step out of your comfort zone with us! The volunteer sign up link is bit.ly/CampNoarkVolunteers

We are very blessed in NWA with outside community partners who are agreeing to help us with programming. The week will be full of exciting activities! Our current goal is to open registration on May 23.

If all goes well, there may be mini-camps and/or day camp options (for Daisies too) in July - but we are just not there yet!

More World Thinking Day fun!

Today Girl Scouts are busily learning about other countries around the World.

The theme of 2022 is "Our World, Our Equal Future". The girls are learning how girls and young women are disproportionately affected by environmental issues and exploring how they can speak out and take action for a better world.
