Well the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff is officially in the books. Want to thank all my sponsors that helped make this event happen. Wasn't the turn out we had hoped for, but it was still an awesome event. It gives me great privilege to announce that the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff Hometown Champion was the Rogers Fire Dept. led by the fire chief Wesley Mclean. Hopefully next year we will more Hometown cookers competing and try to take that crown away from the fire dept. Can't thank all the cookers that came and competed enough for making the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff another success. Its already time to start making plans for the 7th Annual. Now its time for me to start getting ready for the 38th Annual Buckholts Cottonfest BBQ Cookoff and try to repeat as back to back Grand Champion. Ya'll don't want to miss out on another awesome cookoff in our Central Tx area. Buckholts, Tx will be the place to come be at June 5th and 6th 2026. Kayla Doskocil is doing an awesome job of promoting and getting the 38th Annual Buckholts Cottonfest up and going. If you haven't gotten signed up yet, I encourage you to do so and come cook and support this Cookoff. Hope to see everyone there.

Good morning, THE 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff is here, and the smoke is gonna be rolling thru Rogers tonight and tomorrow, especially with the south wind. Let your noses lead you to the cookoff site. 2595 S 2184 Rogers Tx. Come on out and be a judge and help these cookers have the chance of being crowned the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff Grand Champion. You will also help our Hometown Cookers try and win and have the bragging rights of being the Hometown Grand Champion. Are Rogers Fire Dept has put a team together to try and be that Hometown Champion, so come on out and be a judge and help support them. You can also come Friday night and help judge the margarita and chilli turn in's and also listen to some awesome music by the Back Road Band, Don and his crew always put on a good time. So bring your chairs and sit and listen to awesome music.We will have vendors on Sat. morning set up. Hope to see everyone come out and support the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff...

Afternoon all, we are less than a week away from getting ready for the smoke to start rolling thru Rogers, Tx. Just so you know, if your coming to Rogers to cook no need for trying to pre-register cause we have plenty of room and it's nice and level. Looking forward to seeing everyone. If your an Outlaw member and you travel the furthest you will get your entry back and $100 cash for fuel going home. Still looking for judges for Friday nite for margaritas and chilli, and then for beans, Chicken, Ribs and brisket. You won't want to miss out on some awesome tasting bbq. Plan on coming out with your chairs and byob and listen to some good music from the Back Roads Band. Don and his crew always bring some awesome music. Looking forward to seeing everyone come out. Evening all just letting everyone know we are 2 wks from the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff. It's here and hope everyone is ready for some awesome BBQ. Please make sure you make plans to come be a judge, I promise you will not be disappointed. You will get to taste a variety of flavors. Does anyone know of a business or gun store I could contact to see if they would be willing to donate a gun to help support the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff Waffle. Ok everyone, I've held out long enough. We are a month away from the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff. It's time to ramp it up and get ready for the smoke and smell of BBQ to roll thru our town for the 6th year. Can't believe it has already been 6 yrs. All you home town cookers need to dust off them pits, clean out them barrels and get ready to compete for the bragging rights of being the Hometown Champion..Im sure Hunters Herd last years Champion will have something to say about that. Lol. So far no one has repeated to being the Hometown Champion. Looking forward to seeing more Hometown cookers this year. What would be awesome is to see the Hometown Champion also be the Overall Champion of the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff, how cool would that be. Looking for vendors, judges, help in the judging area. Make sure you get on the judging sign up sheet, especially if you want to taste a variety of flavors of BBQ. And don't forget to get signed up for the Margarita judging as well. And if you want come listen to some awesome music, bring your chairs and come enjoy some good music from the Don Owen's Band. Still looking for some items if anyone wants to donate something for the Waffle we have every year to help support the Cookoff and the 2 Scholarships we give out to 2 of Rogers graduating seniors. Please contact me if you have something for the Waffle. Everyone's consideration would be greatly appreciated. Can't thank the Hunter's enough for donating their land for putting on the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff again. Haven't heard from the Co****le group to see if they are gonna do it again. All I can say is get ready to come out and enjoy some awesome BBQ from cookers from all over the state and surrounding states competing to be the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Champion. Good evening all, just wanted to touch bases with everyone. I have been waiting to get thru all the holidays. Which i hope everyone had a blessed holiday and Happy New Year. I am officially kicking off the 6th Annual Rogers Springfest BBQ Cookoff. I had intended to have it In March, but because of several other Cookoff's in March, I was able to get it set for May 15th & 16th 2026. Still so hard to believe it has already been 6 years of growing the Rogers Springfest. I am excited on getting it started and looking forward to having that awesome smoke rolling thru are town of Rogers Tx. I will be getting the flier up and posted. And start gathering items to raffle and make this another awesome cookoff. Will be reaching out to all the existing sponsors and looking forward to picking up some new sponsors.
