Potty Training: When to Start & How to Support Your Toddler

Potty training is a big milestone, and every child reaches readiness at their own pace.

Most toddlers show signs of readiness between 18 months and 3 years old.

Look for cues like staying dry for longer periods, showing interest in the bathroom, or communicating when they’ve gone.

Starting before a child is ready can lead to frustration for both parent and child.
