Have you ever celebrated a Lord's Day dinner? It's a tradition that parallels our Jewish brothers and sisters celebrating the Sabbath. It includes a set of scripture based prayers and one of the lines we pray says: "Today we set aside the concerns of the week that we may honor the Lord and celebrate his resurrection. Today we cease from our work in order to worship God and remember the eternal life to which he has called us." Usually it's over a meal and includes plenty of time spent together! Take time today to offer your Sunday to the Lord!
