Sometimes, it’s easy to measure a ministry by numbers.
How many people came? How many events did we hold? How many volunteers showed up? How many years have we been serving?
But at SonShine Club, we believe the real measure of our ministry is found in something much deeper - its found in the lives we touch.
It’s the Friend who once felt like they didn't belong, who now walks through our doors with a smile because they know they are loved.
It’s the Friend who finds a friendship, discovers a gift, sings a song, serves someone else, or learns more about Jesus.
It’s the caregiver who gets a few hours of much-needed respite and realizes, “I am not alone. There are people who understand.”
It’s the volunteer who comes thinking they are going to make a difference in someone else's life, only to discover that their own life has been changed.
It’s the church that opens its doors and discovers the incredible blessing of welcoming people with special needs into their congregation and community.
It’s the family who finds a community that celebrates their loved because of who God created them to be.
This is SonShine Club.
This is why we do what we do.
And this is why we will keep shining the love of Jesus!
