Pick Up: Grab an official "Forest Friends" fact sheet and answer form at the Civic Center front desk
Drop Off: Return your completed sheet to the Civic Center front desk to enter the raffle!
Whether you go digital or old-school, the Forest Friends Scavenger Hunt is a great way to explore our beautiful parks and make summer memories. Lace up your shoes and let the adventure begin!

🐾 Get Ready for the 2026 Forest Friends Scavenger Hunt!
Calling all nature explorers! The Rocky River Parks and Recreation Foundation invites you to step into the wild and join our "Forest Friends" scavenger hunt. This summer, our beautiful local parks are playing host to some hidden woodland neighbors, and we need you to find them!
🌲 When & Where
Dates: Saturday, June 13th – Saturday July 11th
Location: Across all 10 of Rocky River’s stunning parks!
🗺️ How to Play
Seek Out the Friends: Explore the trails and green spaces of our 10 parks. Hidden somewhere in each park is a special "Forest Friend" waiting to meet you.
Scan & Solve: Each friend has a unique QR code. Scan it with your phone to reveal a secret nature clue or a fun forest fact!
Enter to Win: Carefully submit your answer and info through the digital form. Get all 10 answers correct and you’ll be entered into our Prize Raffle.

Return: Once you’ve tracked down the answers in the parks, drop your completed form back at the desk to make sure your entries are counted.

Wooster/ Shoreland Park Update 2-
This project will transform the vacant property along Shoreland Avenue at Wooster Road into a passive neighborhood park for area residents. Construction is anticipated to continue through the spring, with completion projected for late May 2026.
