They see a horse. We see peace, purpose, and a piece of our souls. 🤎🐴

What they don’t see is that every horse and donkey has a different personality… enough personality to keep life interesting every single day. 😂🐴

It may look like “just horses” to some people, but to us it’s peace, joy, and one of the places where we feel closest to God’s creation. A reminder that His presence can be found in the simple things. Quiet and silly moments. 🤍

Rusty keeps us on our toes around here. 🤎🐴 He’s still learning the ropes and figuring out his place among the herd, which means there’s never a dull moment when he’s around. A little mischievous, a little rowdy, and full of personality, Rusty is slowly growing into the amazing little horse we know he’s meant to be.

Ever wonder why horses roll in the dirt? They’re not trying to get dirty right after a bath (even though it feels personal 😅). Rolling helps horses scratch hard-to-reach spots, stretch their muscles, and even keep pesky bugs away. A good roll followed by a big shake is often a sign of a happy, relaxed horse!🐴💕

There’s just something about being around horses and donkeys that slows life down a little. The peace, the laughs, the happy moments, the quiet comfort… this herd has a way of bringing it out in people every single time. And honestly, that’s one of our favorite things about the farm. 🤍🐴

Because honestly, once you do, there’s no going back. 😂

Did you know that donkeys are incredibly affectionate animals and can actually form deep bonds with both humans and other animals? They’re known for being gentle, social, and emotionally aware. Ours never miss a chance for scratches, hugs, and being right in the middle of whatever you’re doing around the farm. 🫏✨

Farm life may be muddy and messy sometimes, but moments like this make it feel pretty sweet.

From early mornings and dirty boots to endless love and sacrifice, mothers carry so much strength and grace in every season. So thankful for the women who nurture, lead, love deeply, and make life so beautiful…. both in and out of the barn. 🤍
