These Ladies Need Our Help!

One Way Mission is so pleased to announce that three young ladies from the orphanage have been accepted to university! These orphans have worked so hard and focused on their academics, and each of them has chosen careers to give back to their community! It's so amazing, and we are so proud of their accomplishments and their kind hearts!
We need to raise $4,000 U.S. dollars for their combined tuition for this year. These funds are in addition to the monthly budget for the orphanage, for which we always need consistent monthly donors.
In the photo, from left, are Beauty Chama, who will study nursing at the University of Zambia; Margaret Chama, who is studying industrial engineering in Lusaka; and Memory Chishala, who will study nursing at Chreso University in Ndola!

Harvest season is upon us at One Way Mission. Workers planted 17 acres of corn on the farmland to help feed the children this year.
We need your help to purchase a gasoline-powered corn sheller, similar to the one in the attached photo, to make the job more manageable. The estimated cost is around $900.

Since the orphanage started, our needs have grown substantially. Due to the rising costs of groceries, energy, and daily essentials, Director Loveness Sakala is often forced to make difficult choices about what to purchase each month based on a very limited budget.

To make budgeting easier and more predictable, we are focusing on finding consistent donors willing to contribute small monthly donations.

If we can gather a dedicated group of partners willing to commit to just $20 a month, it will make a massive difference.

Making sure every child at the orphanage knows they are deeply loved and valued by the God of the universe is at the heart of this work.

While we are based in the US, we are praying daily for the children and employees at the orphanage, and we would love to have your commitment to do so, as well!

“When we started, the conditions there were rather primitive,” Marshall Hodges said.

Now, by the grace of God, our home has grown to house 45 children, from infants as young as one week to young adults up to age 21. Many of these children are rescued from the streets, having been victims of trafficking or abuse, while many of the babies are found abandoned in dumps or pits.

Here, they are safe.
