12 Years of Legacy, Love, and Purpose 💜

Today, 12 years ago, our namesake, Jasmine Rayvon Phillips, received the answer to her prayers. On this day, she was finally free from the pain of sickle cell disease—free from the sickle cell crises, hospital stays, blood transfusions, and countless challenges she faced with courage and grace.

While our hearts still carry the weight of her physical absence, we choose today to celebrate the life she lived, the strength she displayed, and the legacy she left behind. Jasmine’s story did not end 12 years ago—it continues to inspire and impact lives every single day through the work of the Jasmine Sickle Cell Warriors Foundation.

Because of Jasmine, families are receiving support, patients are finding advocacy, communities are gaining education, and warriors are being reminded that they are not alone. Her life continues to speak through our mission of Empowering and Strengthening the Sickle Cell Community through Belief and Investment.

As we honor Jasmine’s memory today, we invite you to help us continue the work she inspired. Your support allows us to provide programs such as the Warrior Hub, community outreach initiatives, educational resources, patient advocacy, family support services, and events that bring hope to those affected by sickle cell disease.

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, the Jasmine Sickle Cell Warriors Foundation Inc. remembers the heroes who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage, sacrifice, and legacy will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and loved ones, let us also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and remembrance for those who served with honor.

History has been made in Georgia. 💙🎉

The Jasmine Sickle Cell Warriors Foundation Inc. would like to congratulate every advocate, leader, warrior, and family involved in the passing and signing of HB 334 – The Sickle Cell Disease Protection Act into law by Governor Brian Kemp.

This historic milestone represents more than policy change — it represents hope, progress, accountability, and a stronger future for the sickle cell community. The annual review of sickle cell treatments, medications, and Medicaid services is a powerful step toward ensuring warriors are not left behind as medical advancements continue to grow.

We applaud the perseverance, leadership, and bipartisan support that helped bring this vision to life — especially the advocates and families who continued pushing forward even when the journey became difficult.

At JSCW Foundation Inc., we understand firsthand how important advocacy is for the sickle cell community, and moments like this remind us why the work matters. Today we celebrate Georgia, but we also celebrate every warrior across the nation whose voice continues to spark change.
