OK everyone , only a week and 1/2 left to Christmas ! If you want to give a family member- friend or neighbor, that is a First Responder ( Police, EMS providers, Fire) something special , buy that person a brick at the First Responder Memorial. You have no idea how much it will mean to them!

As we prepare for our monthly business meeting tonight, we’d like to take the time to share an unbelievable accomplishment by one of our fire members.
Burton “Spike” Pugh has just completed his 75th year as a firefighter with the Rocky Mount Fire Department. Spike actively participates in our meetings, training, and special events and has been a remarkably valuable asset to our department, his community, and fellow firefighters since 1949. The amount of change Spike has witnessed in the fire service is immeasurable. If you see Spike out and about please take a minute to thank him for a lifetime of service to others and maybe you’ll be fortunate enough to hear a story about a call he ran over the years.
God bless you Spike. We love you and don’t tell you enough how much we appreciate your sacrifices over the last three quarters of a century.
