⚖️💙 SUPPORT TEEN COURT — GAVEL FOR A CAUSE! 💙⚖️

Our Nash & Edgecombe Teen Court Fall Fundraiser is officially underway!

From now through October 31st, our Teen Court students are working to raise funds to support student activities, trainings, supplies, leadership opportunities, and other program needs throughout the year.

Here’s how you can help:

Choose a donation amount from one of our students’ Gavel For A Cause fundraiser sheets and make a contribution. Every $5, $10, $15, and $20 donation brings us one step closer to our goal! 💰

We encourage our families, friends, churches, schools, community partners, and supporters to help us invest in these young leaders.

And yes… there’s a little friendly competition happening too 😂🥧
If the students out-fundraise the staff, they’ll earn the opportunity to pie Dr. Edmundson and Mr. Aaron Green in the face!

So whether you’re supporting a specific student or just want to support Teen Court, we would greatly appreciate your help.

Fundraiser ends October 31st!

Thank you for supporting youth leadership, accountability, service, and second chances in our communities. 💙⚖️

⚖️💙 THAT’S A WRAP ON TEEN COURT ORIENTATION! 💙⚖️

Two Saturdays. Two orientations. A whole new group of student leaders ready to serve! 🙌🏽🎉

The Mediation Center of Eastern Carolina has officially completed our 2026–2027 Teen Court Student Volunteer Orientations, and we couldn’t be more excited about the year ahead!

Over the past two Saturdays, our students learned more about the Teen Court process, courtroom roles, confidentiality, expectations, leadership, service, and what it truly means to be a Teen Court volunteer. We welcomed an awesome mix of new students and returning veterans, all ready to learn, grow, and make a difference in their communities. ⚖️

A HUGE thank you goes to our MCEC staff and team who worked behind the scenes and alongside our students to make both orientations a success. Your hard work, preparation, flexibility, and commitment to our young people did not go unnoticed! 👏🏽💙

And to our students… WELCOME TO TEEN COURT! 🎉 The orientations may be over, but this is just the beginning. We have court sessions, trainings, leadership opportunities, community service, special events, and plenty more ahead!
