We are especially grateful to our guest composers, Michael Glasgow and Nolawi Araya for sharing their stories and insights during our pre-concert Q&A. Opportunities to work so closely with composers are part of what makes these performances so impactful. We look forward to more collaborations in the near future!

Last night’s rehearsal included a workshopping session with Michael Glasgow, one of the composers featured on our Modern Voices program! Having the opportunity to collaborate with composers in this capacity is truly special, and it’s one of our favorite aspects of what we do. Michael will join NCCA Artistic Director, James Mauk, and fellow composer Nolawi Araya for our pre-concert talk prior to tomorrow’s performance. We hope to see you there!
