We’re so grateful for the churches that have come alongside us to serve through ServeNC! 🙌🏾

This week, we’re excited to welcome Oakdale Baptist Church, whose team will be working hard throughout the week to replace the roof on one of our housing projects! 🏠🔨

Every nail, every shingle, and every hour of service is helping us move one step closer to putting a new homeowner in this home!

We’re incredibly thankful for the Baptist churches that have partnered with Building Shalom to serve our community and help us turn Blight to Beauty! What was once a vacant or distressed property is becoming a place a family can proudly call home.

Thank you, Oakdale Baptist, and thank you to every church that has served with us through ServeNC. Together, we’re building homes, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating pathways to homeownership! ❤️

🏡✨ We’re still building—even if it hasn’t looked like it on social media! ✨🏡

Behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work, and we’re currently getting back on top of our communications so we can stay better connected with our local community. 💙

In the meantime, there’s something we’d love for the broader community to know: our program participants are always eager to give back, serve, and create opportunities that benefit the community! 🤝🌱

That’s why we’re excited to invite you to our Community Yard Sale this Sunday starting at 12:00 PM! 🛍️🎉

Come out, find some great deals, connect with neighbors, and support a wonderful community-led effort. Every purchase helps make a difference! 🙌🏾

🌭 And don’t miss Ed’s Hot Dog Sale! Proceeds will support Building Shalom’s mission of helping our neighbors continue to grow and flourish through financial literacy education, while also helping aspiring homeowners begin their journey toward sustainable homeownership. 🏠📈❤️

Together, we’re building stronger families, stronger neighborhoods, and a stronger community. 💪🏾🏘️

📍 See the flyer for more details!

We can’t wait to see you there!! 😊
