Our ministry began in 1999 as support missionaries rebuilding an abandoned Bible school for the Ticuna tribe. 25 years later we still encourage local ministries as support missionaries and encourage local militaries with appreciation gifts at Christmas.

Nigeria, Ghana, and Greece. Nigeria was in the news on Easter sunday for violence against Christians celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Ghana was recently in the news for the same thing. Greece made me think of the Apostle Paul and his missionary trips in the first century. All of them kind of tied together in the advance of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I am down to the final three blocks. It has been an intense time getting this done. I'm getting super close to being able to see the finished product.

Three more new blocks finished. I got Italy finished just before Easter. That was my goal. I've only got six left to do.

I was hoping to have all 30 quilt blocks finished by the end of March. I am really going to have to hurry to hit that goal. With classes all afternoon nearly every day, that might be a big challenge. I'm hoping to have the quilt completed by May.

Another block done...Mexico. My prayers are for the president and military fighting the cartels that have been in control for way too long.
I fought my own personal inclinations to add Arabia. Mohammad created such an evil thing, I really wanted to leave it out. But I felt it was needed and lots tangled up in that religion are needing prayers.
I also finished the Ticuna for Colombia. I'm praying for the Indigenous people who are losing kids and teens to the ones pushing addiction. Also lots of prayers going up for the presidential election that will happen soon. We need a good president who is strong on the good side.

I'm working on another prayer quilt. Today's block is Israel. That's very much in my mind and prayers. A few days ago it was Scotland, finished on the day that the v**e shop burned. That reminded me to pray for addicts. I pray every day for ones recovering from addiction, but I don't often pray for the addicts. I should. They need prayer too. The Native Americans are always in my prayers along with American leaders. It feels like the spirit world in heavy and the prayer quilt helps me focus.
