Small businesses — our annual golf fundraiser is coming up, and it’s a great opportunity to get your name in front of the community.

Here’s how you can participate:

1). Donate items for golfer goodie bags (branded items encouraged).

2). While the Beverage Cart and Breakfast sponsorships have already been claimed, you can still:
• Sponsor a hole ($300, $150, or $100)
• Sponsor a 4‑person team for $480
• Sponsor lunch — still available!

** Changes for taxpayers who make donations coming in 2026

Beginning in 2026, taxpayers who don't itemize deductions (but take the standard deduction) can deduct up to $1,000 (single filers) or $2,000 (married couples filing jointly) for cash gifts made directly to qualified operating charities.

What this means for you: If you don’t itemize deductions, this gives you a new way to reduce your tax bill while supporting causes and charities you care about. This change will likely provide tax benefits to a large number of taxpayers, since around 90% of households take the standard deduction.

If you were planning to still make a donation in 2025, it is probably better to wait until January of 2026.
