At the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH), we know that strong partnerships with the local business community are essential to advancing our mission of ending homelessness. MCCH was honored to join the City of Rockville for a wonderful screening of La Estrella and panel discussion focused on family, recovery, healing, and the experiences of Latino families impacted by the opioid crisis.
It was especially meaningful to see our new Director of External Affairs & Government Relations, Omar Lazo, celebrate Hispanic heritage alongside Mayor Monique Ashton.
We are grateful to Mayor Ashton, the Rockville City Council, and the City of Rockville for their continued partnership with MCCH and our shared work to expand safe, stable, and affordable housing opportunities in our community.
