Today, March 1st, is the start of Self-Injury Awareness Day (SIAD). But for us, one day is not enough.
That's why the Adolescent Self-Injury Foundation (ASIF) is officially declaring the entire month of March to be Adolescent Self-Injury Awareness Month (ASIAM).
This month, we're launching a new message: It's Okay to Be AS-I-AM.
It's a reminder that behind the struggle, behind the pain, there is a person — a person who deserves to be seen, heard, and loved exactly as they are.
It's a promise that you don't have to be perfect to be worthy of help. It's a commitment to showing up, for yourself or for the people you love, without judgment.
This March, we're starting a different kind of conversation. One about hope. One about empowerment. One about recovery.
Will you join us?
Follow our page, share this post, and be part of a movement that says to every young person struggling in silence: We see you. We are here for you. And it's okay to be you.
