MC Family Justice Center Foundation Our mission is to end abuse of all ages through education and programs that assist victims of abuse.

The mission of the MCFJC Foundation is to raise awareness about power-based relationship abuse in families, teens, and the elderly. By working with community partners to harness our combined resources, we provide support to victims of domestic violence and their children and promote healthy dating relationships among teenagers. We are dedicated to ending violence and abuse of all ages and promoting healing after abuse.

The Montgomery County Family Justice Center Foundation was honored to participate in the City of Rockville’s proclamation recognizing October 2026 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month on October 5.

Thank you to Mayor Monique Ashton and Councilmembers Kate Fulton, Izola (Zola) Shaw, Barry Jackson, Marissa Valeri, David Myles, and Adam Van Grack, who signed the proclamation, for standing with survivors and encouraging our community to speak out against domestic violence.

Through Make MoCo Purple, we invite everyone to turn that commitment into action: wear purple, share resources, and help make support visible and easy to find.

Together, we can remind survivors and their families: You are not alone. 💜

Montgomery County Family Justice Center Foundation estará presente apoyando el Foro de Concientización Contra la Violencia Doméstica, organizado por Latinx Warriors DMV-USA. Será una oportunidad para encontrarnos, aprender y fortalecer una comunidad donde las personas que viven violencia sepan que no están solas y que hay apoyo disponible.
