We were honored to welcome Dr. Amanda Fader of Johns Hopkins to our 2026 Celebrity Golf Tournament! ⛳️💜

Together, we are helping to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Dr. Fader’s patients and patients battling gynecologic cancers across the country.

For our founder, Linda Laughlin, this mission is deeply personal. As a cancer survivor and passionate patient advocate, Linda has taken her story to Capitol Hill, sharing her experiences and advocating for greater awareness, research funding, and better treatment options. By putting her journey into words and using her voice to inspire change, Linda continues to turn her personal experience into hope for others.

Through the dedication of physicians like Dr. Fader, advocates like Linda, and the generosity of our supporters, we are working toward a future where more patients have access to life-saving treatments and better outcomes.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 6th Annual Swing for a Cure Celebrity Golf Tournament! ⛳

We are excited to announce that we broke another record and raised $395,000 for rare cancers. We are so proud of the impact we made together. 💜

It was an incredible day filled with community, camaraderie and fun, all in support of raising awareness and funds for rare cancers.

A special thank you to the Washington Capitals, our celebrity guests, volunteers, supporters, and presenting sponsors Neil & Emily Kishter for making this day possible.

We’re so grateful to see this event continue to grow and make an impact year after year!

💜 Our story. Our mission. Our reason for continuing to fight.

This morning, Linda Laughlin and Courtney Laughlin, joined Good Morning Washington to shine a light on Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month and share the story that started it all.

Linda opened up about her journey with uterine serous carcinoma,a rare and aggressive form of endometrial cancer, while Courtney shared what it meant to walk beside her as a daughter and caregiver.

Their experience became the catalyst for what is now the Laughlin Family Foundation: a commitment to raising awareness, advocating for women, supporting critical research and making sure more women know the signs, listen to their bodies and have the resources they need to advocate for their health.

This weekend, that mission continues at the Race to End Women’s Cancer at move4her.org. 💜

We are incredibly grateful to Good Morning Washington for giving Linda and Courtney the opportunity to share their story and to every person who continues to stand with us in the fight against gynecologic cancers.

💜 At the heart of the Laughlin Family Foundation is Linda Laughlin.

Linda’s own cancer journey is where so much of this mission began. What started as an incredibly personal and difficult chapter became a reason to fight for something bigger — more awareness, more research, more support and more hope for others facing rare cancers.

Instead of allowing her diagnosis to define her story, Linda used it to help change the stories of others.

That same spirit is what inspired our annual Swing for a Cure Celebrity Golf Tournament, a day that brings together family, friends, athletes, celebrities, sponsors, volunteers and supporters, all united behind a cause that means so much to us.

Year after year, this event has grown into something truly special. But no matter how much it grows, we never forget why we started.

Today, as we gather for another Swing for a Cure, we celebrate Linda, the woman whose journey helped start it all and whose strength, heart and determination continue to inspire everything we do. 💜
