Meet Sawyer local to Montgomery County, MD. When we saw the below post from his Mom we had to share his act of kindness and all those that donated to him. Thank you Sawyer for being an inspiration, and showing that no matter how busy a teens life is there is always room to help those in need. “This is what about 150 pairs of Crocs look like piled three pairs deep and ready for packing to Kenya.

It’s thanks to so many of you who responded so generously when Sawyer asked for help collecting new and used shoes to take to kids who otherwise may have no shoes to walk miles to school. I wish you could have seen Sawyer’s face each time he opened a box with yet another pair of shoes from friends—and even some strangers—somewhere in the US. What a reminder of kindness and generosity and that we can all make a difference in this world.

If we haven’t thanked you individually, it’s because some Amazon packages didn’t contain sender information. But please know each pair is appreciated here and needed where it is going. We will post pictures after they are distributed (and after we get back into WiFi range!) later this month.

In the meantime, it’s a week for packing, finals, prom, and last day of school celebrations. “

Kids have the kindest of hearts!! 💗🌟

The district has over $150,000 worth of school lunch debt. 11-year-old Daken was able to pay off his school’s entire debt, with enough left over to also help at a nearby high school.

Sending warm hugs to our KGM family from all of us on National Hug day. This holiday started in Michigan on January 21st, 1986 by Kevin Zaborney to encourage more hugs for family and friends. It is now celebrated world wide.

*Note: not everyone may be a hugger so please respect personal space and ask.

We want to say THANK YOU, to all those that have supported us and continue to support our local non profit. Because of your contributions we were able to help at least 10 local families get a full meal for Thanksgiving (Turkey and fixings), via “Clarksburg High Schools, Ambassador’s Turkey drive.” Anytime you are feeling generous please keep us in mind as it takes a village to make a difference in our community.
