MoCo Pride Center Serving the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community in Montgomery County, MD.

The MoCo Pride Center is a 501c3 organization designed to serve the LGBTQ (Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning) community and its allies in Montgomery County, Maryland. Our vision is to be the leading organization for LGBTQ resources and advocacy in our county. Our mission is to organize, support, educate, and provide outreach to the LGBTQ community and its allies. • Encourage authenticity and honesty in self-expression;
• Connect community members and create a network of support for youth, adults, and families;

The ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY celebration and fundraiser for MoCo Pride Center in Bethesda is happening on Saturday, 8/29 from 7-9 PM 🌈 This milestone is about celebrating the work we've done and renewing our commitment to give back to the community -- that's why anyone that attends can enter for a chance to receive one of several Birthday Pride Packages from MoCo Pride Center!

Each package has a different theme, from self-care to reading to showing your Pride, and is stuffed with shirts, fans, stickers, bubbles, books, flags, plus some unique surprises 👀

Can't make it to the celebration on Saturday? MoCo Pride Center Bethesda's actual birthday is on Sunday, 8/30, and we are open as usual from 11 AM to 7 PM. Anyone that visits the Pride Center on our birthday can ALSO enter the drawing. We will contact the winners the following week!

TONIGHT (8/27) we have TWO programs on the MoCo Pride calendar!

IN-PERSON from 6 PM - 9 PM at 4805 Edgemoor Lane: Z-Club is a social club created for transgender, gender expansive, and gender-nonconforming adults to show up as themselves. This is not our usual support group or social event; this is a private safe space. Please register and review our special privacy policies before attending!

VIRTUAL from 7 PM - PM on Zoom: Hope & Support Circle is a weekly gathering designed to provide empowerment, joy, and resources for our LGBTQIA+ communities. We create a space of understanding, connection, and support in the face of ongoing challenges and attacks on our communities.

Today, 8/25, is a Testing Tuesday at MoCo Pride Center! Every Tuesday until 5 PM we offer free STI and HIV testing with assistance from our community health partners Us Helping Us . Tests only take 5 minutes, and you get a free Visa gift card when you participate!

Can't come in today? Drop in on any day of the week to pick up a rapid test. We'll walk you through the process and make sure that you always know your status. Happy Testing Tuesday, from us to you!

One year ago, we opened the doors to Montgomery County's first dedicated LGBTQIA+ community resource center with a simple but powerful commitment: to create a place where people could find community, care, resources, joy, and the freedom to live authentically. What has happened within these walls over the past year has been extraordinary, and we would be honored to celebrate this milestone with you.

The market is back, and we've got a new look! Join MoCo Pride Center for Montgomery County’s largest indoor LGBTQIA+ shopping space: Bethesda's very own How Bazaar!

From 12 PM to 5 PM on the 4th Saturday of every month, MoCo Pride Center invites local BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ owned businesses to show off their skills and their wares, just for you. Come meet our rotating cast of vendors, do some shopping, and make connections. Starting next month, you can look forward to new crafting and skills workshops from featured vendors. You never know what you’re going to get, so don’t be afraid to BE BIZARRE!

It's almost time! We are delighted to invite you to celebrate the upcoming One-Year Birthday of the MoCo Pride Center in Bethesda.

Nearly one year ago, we opened the doors to Montgomery County's first dedicated LGBTQIA+ community resource center with a simple but powerful commitment: to create a place where people could find community, care, resources, joy, and the freedom to live authentically.

What has happened within these walls over the past year has been extraordinary. Thousands of community members have walked through our doors, participated in programs, connected with resources and care, built new relationships, and helped make the Pride Center something far greater than a building—it has become a home for community.

We would be honored to celebrate this milestone with you. Please join us for a special evening of community, celebration, and reflection as we commemorate our first year and look ahead to everything still to come!
