Tonight in Jerusalem, the Global Jewish Educators Summit closed out, with several members of our board and Israeli staff in attendance.

A very special moment for our Russian-speaking partners, thanks to the Mayberg Foundation. Together with the Jerusalem Post, they selected and honored 8 outstanding teachers throughout the world.

Marina Grushevskaya, a longtime Judaic Studies teacher and community leader from Lauder Etz Chaim, was honored as one of the recipients of the Global Jewish Teacher Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to Jewish education and community building. Affectionately called “Mora Marina”, she was one of the first Judaism teachers in post-Soviet Russia and brought up many generation of children, teachers, and Jewish mothers through her dedicated and selfless work.

Our wonderful Momentum educator for Russian-language trips, Shulamit Kopeliovich, attended the summit and presented Marina with flowers on behalf of all of us at Momentum.

As mothers, we spend so much time thinking about what everyone else needs that we easily forget to ask ourselves the same question.

What brings me joy? What gives me strength? What makes me feel like myself?

Taking time for yourself isn't taking anything away from your family. It's a chance to reconnect with the woman you are, beyond all the roles you fill.

So here's a little reminder to make space for yourself today.

What's one thing that brings you joy, just for you? Share it in the comments.

The impact of a Momentum Journey of Growth reaches far beyond seven days in Israel.

For Tamera Miller, it’s become part of a shared journey with her son, and a growing dream for their family’s future in Israel.

Sometimes one journey is just the beginning.

Three years ago, on October 7, the world as we knew it changed.

We remember the more than 1,200 lives taken. We remember those who were taken hostage, those who returned home, and those who did not. We remember the families forever changed and the stories we have a responsibility to carry forward.

In the three years since, we have also witnessed extraordinary resilience. Jewish mothers in Israel and around the world have shown up for one another, shared their stories, strengthened their communities, and continued to build Jewish life even through profound grief.

October 7 fell on Simchat Torah, a day of Jewish joy that will forever carry the memory of what happened. Three years later, we are reminded that grief and joy can live side by side.

Moving forward does not mean moving on. It means carrying their names and stories with us as we choose to live fully and build what comes next.

We mourn.
We remember.
We will dance again.

The impact of a Momentum Journey to Israel doesn’t end when the trip does.

Ashley DiPietro Inbar, a Momentum Community Leader in May 2024 and November 2025, has been named one of Mainebiz’s 40 Under 40 for her work helping build a stronger Jewish community in Maine.

Her recognition reflects the kind of leadership we are proud to see across the Momentum community. Women bringing their values, confidence, and sense of purpose back home and putting them into action.

We’re proud to celebrate Ashley and the impact she continues to make in her community.

Kol HaKavod, Ashley!

Three years.

Three years since October 7 changed Israel, the Jewish people, and so many families forever.

As Jewish mothers, we know what it means to carry a story. To hold memory. To keep showing up with love, even when our hearts are heavy. And we know that remembering is not passive. It is something we do together.

This Sunday, join Momentum for a special virtual conversation inspired by Till You Come Home, a film that shares the stories of Israeli mothers whose lives were forever changed on October 7.

Adrienne Gold Davis will be joined by Dana Levenson, creator of the film, and one of the mothers featured in it for an intimate conversation about motherhood, endurance, memory, and what it means to carry these stories forward.

Together, we will also view two short clips from the film, shared exclusively during the live event and not included in the recording afterward.

Three years later, we continue to remember. We continue to listen. And we continue to stand with the mothers whose stories are part of our collective story.

Join us Sunday, October 11 at 2:00 PM ET.

On Simchat Torah, we celebrate the joy of Torah.

We dance with it. We sing with it. And when we finish reading the Torah, we roll it all the way back to the beginning and start again.

It is a beautiful reminder that Torah is not simply a story we inherit. It is a living part of who we are, connecting us to generations before us and shaping the generations that come after us.

May we find joy in learning, living, and passing our Jewish story forward.
