Rotary Club hears about
Partnersh9p Parke County

Cyndi Todd (on left) executive director of Partnership Parke County (PPC), recently updated the Rockville Rotary Club on the programs and activities of the organization at the meeting held in the banquet room of the Thirty-Six Saloon in Rockville. Rotarian Greg Harbison (on right) was program chairman.

PPC is the leader of economic and community development in Parke County including the efforts of the county Redevelopment Commission. Some of the areas discussed by Todd included: the regional sewer district that will include Bloomingdale, Marshall, Turkey Run State Park and Parke Heritage Middle School and Turkey Run Elementary; the remodeling of the Old National Bank building in Rockville into a Courthouse Annex; building business relationships and expansion; the Wabash River regional riverfront roundtables and natural gas pipelines serving Parke County that may provide opportunities for small electric generating stations.

The Rotary Club of Rockville is one of over 46,000 Rotary International clubs world-wide promoting community service, peace and understanding. The Club normally meets on Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m. at the Thirty-Six Saloon banquet room. More information about the Rockville Rotary Club is available on Facebook.
