Meet Natasha👋 one of the incredible tenants we are proud to call part of the Housing Unlimited family. Her home is one of 40+ across Montgomery County that recently went solar through our groundbreaking partnership with RE-volv, GreenBrilliance - Powering a Solar Future, and the Montgomery County Green Bank. Watch the full video to hear her thoughts on clean energy and what this initiative means for her day to day💙

But this partnership is about so much more than solar panels. The energy bill savings we generate are being reinvested directly back into our mission, helping us purchase more homes and serve more individuals in mental health recovery right here in our community🙌

We are incredibly grateful to RE-volv, GreenBrilliance, and the Montgomery County Green Bank for making this vision a reality - and to Billie Eilish's Changemaker Program via a grant through Reverb for helping make it all possible🌱

What if your next donation could cut your Maryland tax bill in half? 👀Sounds pretty nice, right?! Through Maryland's Community Investment Tax Credit Program, it can, and the impact goes so much further🙌

Here's the deal: eligible Maryland residents and businesses with a Maryland tax liability who donate to Housing Unlimited receive a state tax credit equal to 50% of their gift!

But here's what makes this truly special: every dollar you contribute goes directly toward providing affordable housing for individuals in mental health recovery right here in Montgomery County. You're not just saving on taxes. You're helping someone walk through the door and into a beautiful, affordable home🏡

The minimum contribution to participate is $500, and unused credits can be carried over for up to 5 years. All it takes to get started is a donation to Housing Unlimited and a short form to secure your credit!

Meet Richard👋 After his journey through sober living, Richard waited six months for a home that would truly work for him: No steps, accessible, and a place of his own. When he got the call that a first-floor condo was available, the joy he felt said everything💙

Richard is ready. Ready to reclaim his independence. Ready to rebuild his future. Ready to step confidently into this new chapter of his life on his own terms, in a space that finally feels like it was made for him🏡

We know that housing is one of the most critical factors in long-term 🏡 That's why we don't just hand over the keys and walk away. Through our Extra Measure Property Management Program, our team visits every single one of our homes each week to check in on the condition of the property and, just as importantly, connect with our tenants directly🙌

The Extra Measure Program goes beyond property maintenance. It provides our tenants with the education and training they need to be successful, contributing members of a shared living community. Sustaining a home is a skill, and we are committed to walking alongside every tenant as they build it.
