School’s Out – Pool Opens Early! 🎉
Happy last day of school! To celebrate early dismissal, the pool will open tomorrow, June 18 at 1:00 PM—come kick off summer with us.

PS. Don't forget tomorrow is Teen Night! The pool will close at 6:45pm to general membership. Thank you to all who have volunteered!

Never miss a pool closure or weather delay! ⛈️☀️

With summer hours starting soon, the best way to stay updated is to sign up for pool alerts on your phone—via your MemberSplash! It only takes a few minutes.

How to set it up:
1️⃣ Open Safari or Chrome and go to msplash.app
2️⃣ Tap the Share icon → View More
3️⃣ Select Add to Home Screen → Tap Add
4️⃣ Open the new app icon and enter code: mwscswim26
5️⃣ Log in with your email + password
6️⃣ When prompted, tap Allow notifications
✅ That’s it! You can always go into the app once set up and go to 'announcements' to see alerts.

💡 Tip: Make sure notifications are enabled on your phone so you don’t miss anything.

📣 Note: These alerts are for pool-wide updates. Swim and Dive team coaches will continue to use a separate platform for practice communications.

Volunteers Needed: School’s Out for Summer Teen Night! 🍕🎉
We’re getting ready for one of our favorite events of the season—and we need your help to make it a success!

📅 Thursday, June 18
⏰ 6:30–10:00 PM
📍 MWSC
We’re looking for volunteers to help with:

- Event setup
- Collecting entry fees at the door
- Serving pizza
- Chaperoning

This is a fun, easy way to support our teens and keep the night running smoothly!

☀️ Dive In! Manor Woods Updates for Week of June 8
A few important updates as we head into the season—please take a quick look 👇

Reminder on Closing Times:
Posted hours (7:45 PM / 8:45 PM) reflect when the grounds close.
Swimming ends 15 minutes earlier (at :30) so lifeguards can safely clear and clean. Please follow their instructions at closing.

⏰ Extended Weekday Hours (through end of school year):
We’re keeping the pool open an extra hour on weekdays! Swim until 8:30 PM and grounds close at 8:45 PM

📅 Saturday Update: Pool opens at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 13 due to a swim meet.

🏊 Swim Lessons: Interest form is now available. Lessons begin after June 18. Individual & small group options available!

👶 Pool Policy Reminder: Children who are not potty trained must remain in the baby pool (no swim diapers in the main pool)

🏊‍♀️ Swim & Dive Team: First A Meet vs. Chevy Chase Recreation Association; Dive Meet vs. Robin Hood. Go Terrapins! 🐢

Lessons will be taught in groups of 1-3 children, aged 3 and older, without the parent/guardian present in the pool. If you are planning on having a group lesson, each swimmer needs to have this form filled out (this is because the medical waiver at the end must be "signed" by a parent of each lesso...

Friday, June 5 – Swim/Dive Team Fundraiser
Order from Paisano’s (Rockville) and 20% of sales go back to the Manor Woods Team. Easy dinner, great cause (they deliver to the pool!).

Saturday, June 6 – Delayed Opening
The pool opens at 12:00 PM (noon) due to swim team time trials.

Sunday, June 7 – New Member Meet & Greet (10:30 AM)
Join us for a free bagel breakfast to welcome new members and connect with neighbors.

Weather Update: Memorial Day Activities Postponed—But the Pool Is Open Saturday at 11am & First Jump Is On!

Due to the weather, most Memorial Day weekend activities—including Taco Truck, Slip & Slide, grilling, and Meal Deal—have been postponed.

The pool remains open (weather permitting—unless there is thunder or lightning), and…

💦 We’re still keeping the First Jump at 11am—chilly water and all!
We hope to see lots of you brave souls there for this fun tradition—rain or shine!

We’ll reschedule activities for a sunny weekend soon—stay tuned for updates!
