Montgomery County Collaboration Council We promote the well-being of children, youth & families through collaborative partnerships. Call our Resource Specialist at 301-354-4910.

Our work focuses on building a better community by:

Offering safe, quality and accessible after-school programs that inspire our youth to realize their full potential through a public/private partnership known as the Excel Beyond the Bell Collaborative. With our partners, we also strive to create and support a quality workforce in the field of youth development by providing trainings, resources a

nd higher education opportunities. To learn more, go to http://www.excelbeyondthebell.org

Reducing juvenile crime and the disproportionate number of our minority youth involved in the juvenile justice system through the development of new programs that teach positive behaviors, support parents and offer alternatives to needless incarceration. Programs like the Evening Reporting Center that provides supervision and services for youth with misdemeanor offenses during the critical hours after school. Connecting families and their children with emotional and behavioral needs to local resources to help them successfully remain in their home, school and community through our Pathway to Services and Local Care Team. Building an alliance that engages the community to create conditions to prevent the use of alcohol, to***co, and other drugs by youth.
