Community Reach of Montgomery County Our mission is to empower the underserved in Montgomery County by
addressing their essential needs to enhance the overall well-being of our
community.

Reach empowers those who are underserved in Montgomery County by addressing their essential needs to enhance the overall well-being of our community. We envision a collaborative community where basic resources and opportunities are accessible to all. Reach operates in five direct service areas: 1) the MANSFIELD KASEMAN HEALTH CLINIC delivers health care and health education to low income uninsured adult residents of Montgomery County; 2) ROCKVILLE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM steps in with financial assistance for Rockville residents facing eviction, utility termination, or are in need of life-saving medications, as well as providing social service referrals (food, clothing, dental and vision care) to any County resident; 3) SENIOR REACH PROGRAM enables low- and low-moderate income seniors to age in place by offering weekly home care services, as well as home repairs and modifications that ensure safety and functionality; 4) LANGUAGE OUTREACH PROGRAM teaches English as a Second Language and Citizenship classes to adult immigrants in an affordable program that includes free childcare and tutoring; and 5) Reach's Permanent Supportive Housing Program includes two homes: JEFFERSON HOUSE and ROCKLAND HOUSE, which support formerly homeless men and women as they work toward self-sufficiency.
