Voices for Children Montgomery’s vision is to be the leading voice championing and advocating for every child in Montgomery County foster care. Our mission is to train and support volunteer advocates for children in Montgomery County foster care to ensure their placement in safe, permanent homes. This mission is accomplished through the recruitment, training and on-going support and supervision of

volunteers from the community who are appointed by the Juvenile Court judges to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for these children. CASA Volunteers serve as voices for one of our most vulnerable populations – abused and neglected children.

Over time, she built a trusting relationship that has empowered Chris to open up about his goals and aspirations. As a result, Chris is actively planning for life after high school and is considering college or a vocational program, an exciting step toward the future he wants for himself.
