From MC to Broadway
“Music was my first language and poetry was my first love.”

From Montgomery College Summer Dinner Theatre to the bright lights of Broadway, Montgomery College Alumni Association alumna Awa Sal Secka (Class of 2015) is taking center stage in her Broadway debut as Flo in Wanted Musical!

Secka credits MC’s theater faculty with helping her build confidence, embrace her talent, and discover the power of storytelling. Her journey shows how the right opportunities and mentorship can help turn a passion into a dream career.

Tell us, what was your first love?
