School is back in session! 📚 In August, we were excited to be part of Community Impact Day, a Back to School event hosted in partnership with , Cora Rice Elementary School, and several incredible community organizations! 🎒

Our team had the opportunity to connect with parents, share helpful community resources, and distribute water bottles to families attending the event. The event also provided families with food, school supplies and backpacks for students, along with valuable resources focused on education, physical and mental health, and support for teen parents.

We’re grateful to ImpactHumanity Inc. and all of the organizations that came together to help families prepare for a successful school year. It was a wonderful day of community, connection, and giving back! 💙

A great first visit to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church! 💙🥕📦

Last month, our team volunteered with their food distribution program, helping unload food trucks and sort through donations to check the quality of each item and determine what could be distributed and what needed to be discarded.

St. Martin of Tours has been serving the community for more than 30 years and provides food to around 350 families every Monday, with volunteers helping sort donations on Sundays. They also support the community in other ways, including clothing donation bins and a composting program that creates fertile soil for growing vegetables. 🌱👕🥦

It was a great experience learning more about the work they do and being able to support their mission. If you’re in MoCo, this is definitely an organization worth checking out and volunteering with!

Thank you for having us—we look forward to coming back! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended, supported, and helped spread the word about our Annual Soccer & BBQ Fundraiser! ⚽️🌭💙

Thanks to your generosity and support, we surpassed our fundraising goal for Hungry 2 Help! These funds will help us continue supporting local community projects while expanding our reach into the Greater Baltimore area.

This year, we also added a raffle that was included with each entry! A special thank you to all of the generous individuals and businesses who donated prizes and helped make the raffle possible. Your support means so much to us!

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to show up, contribute, and grow with us. From the soccer and volleyball games, the BBQ, and all the memories we’ve made along the way, this event was truly special!

And of course… a little rain couldn’t keep us down! 🌧️😂

We couldn’t do this without you! 💙

🗣️📷 shoutout to our awesome photography team: Shannon, Angie & CJ!

Last month, Hungry4Change proudly partnered with the Venezuelan community to support families affected by the earthquake.

Together, we packed medications, baby supplies, canned food, and other essential relief supplies to be shipped to Venezuela. We are proud to stand with our community and grateful to everyone who made this effort possible. 🇻🇪🤝

Recently, H4C had the opportunity to participate in events at the and Theodore Roosevelt High School in Washington, DC.

At Theodore Roosevelt High School, we participated in a resource fair focused on supporting immigrant students and families. Community organizations came together to share information about immigrant rights, access to basic necessities, educational opportunities, and ways to get involved locally. It was inspiring to speak with students about their goals, connect them with resources, and learn about the incredible work being done by fellow organizations.

At UMD, we attended a career panel hosted by , where professionals shared their journeys in healthcare, lessons learned, and advice for students pursuing careers in the medical field. We were grateful for the opportunity to support one of our former volunteers and connect with students interested in professional development.

A special thank you to the educators, counselors, and community partners who made the Roosevelt event such a welcoming and impactful experience. We’re especially grateful for the connection that began at the MELLFIN event and led to this opportunity. Moments like these remind us how meaningful community partnerships can be.💙
