🔬 A major scientific milestone for AIM-HI portfolio company Degron Therapeutics.
Research led by Degron Therapeutics and ShanghaiTech University has been published in Nature, highlighting a promising molecular glue degrader designed to target HuR—a protein long considered difficult to drug.
The study revealed how targeted degradation of HuR may suppress BRAF-mutant colorectal cancer and potentially help overcome resistance to BRAF inhibitors, pointing to a promising new direction for difficult-to-treat cancers.
Degron Therapeutics was a winner of the 2023 AIM-HI BRACE Award Venture Competition. We are proud to see the company continue translating innovative science into potential new approaches for difficult-to-treat cancers.

We are proud to share that Dr. Sujuan Ba, CEO & Co-Founder of AIM-HI and President & CEO of the National Foundation for Cancer Research, will speak at Excellentium 2026, hosted by Global Biotech Revolution.

Dr. Ba will join the panel “Building and Motivating Teams to Deliver Impact”, moderated by Elisabeth Guy-Dubois, along with Alexandra Zemp, Olivier Soula, Dr. Ruth Shah and Nigel Sheail. The discussion will explore how leaders can build and motivate teams, make strategic decisions, and lead for impact while empowering the next generation of biotech, life sciences, and healthcare leaders.

Through our annual AIM-HI Venture Competitions and other programs, AIM-HI supports scientist-entrepreneurs working to advance innovative cancer therapies and technologies. AIM-HI portfolio company Clasp Therapeutics has announced encouraging preclinical data for CLSP-5282, a first-in-class KRas-directed T-cell engager (TCE) designed to target KRas G12V-mutant cancers.

The data demonstrated:
🔹Potent mutation-specific tumor killing
🔹Strong anti-tumor activity in preclinical models
🔹Enhanced activity in tumors resistant to KRas inhibitors
🔹Potential for rational dual-KRas targeting

Clasp plans to submit an Investigational New Drug (IND) application in 2026, marking an important step toward clinical development.
