With the theme for the American Legion Post 91 Moosup, CT 62nd Annual VJ Day Parade being "Be The One", the Parade Committee is honored to announce that Connecticut State Trooper Kyle Kaelberer has accepted our invitation to serve as Grand Marshal. On September 11, 2022, while working traffic enforcement on I-84, Trooper Kaelberer encountered an Army Veteran at risk. By his actions that night, it is clear that he provided the necessary immediate care the Veteran required which then enabled the Veteran to receive the medical care he needed. These actions were the definition of the "Be The One" initiatives that will help combat the Veteran su***de problem.
