Each year, our family awards a graduating 8th grade girl at St Agnes Cathedral School , The Mary Ruchalski Scholarship Award .
But this years recipient was extra special, for SO many reasons ❤️
Kitt Oneill, who everyday displays the kindness and enthusiasm our Mary always shown.

Kitt, who I think is the last St Agnes student who KNEW Mary ~
Kitt, who welcomed Mary into her life when she was well and when she was sick.
But she never saw Mary as sick , her weak body and no hair , just as fun and kind Mary ❤️
My daughters, Ashley and Lyndsey , who got Kitt to kindergarten , who dressed her for her kindergarten pictures convinced Deirdre to wear her fashionable necklace for her picture, and now presenting Kitt with this award.
I KNOW Mary was all around us on graduation night ❤️
I have no doubt Kitt will continue to be the wonderful young girl she is and I know our Mary will be with her every step of the way
We love you Kitt❤️

📍 Location: Pickleball Prime LI — 205 E 2nd St, Mineola, NY

Divisions
Intro to Pickleball: Never played before? This is your division. Paddles are provided, no experience needed. You’ll play a round-robin format and compete for individual prizes.
Up & Down the River (Rating 2.0–3.0): A fun, competitive format with individual prizes throughout the day.
Intermediate (Rating 3.0–3.5): Solid fundamentals, real competition. Round-robin into single elimination. Games to 11 points.
Advanced (Rating 3.5–4.0): Bring the d**k. Bring the drive. Round-robin into single elimination. Games to 11 points.
Flights may be adjusted based on registration totals to keep things fair and competitive for everyone.

Monday night was so special and we felt Mary all around me as these young, strong and talented women play softball in Mary’s name. I was telling stories of Mary’s pitching skills, how fast she was, and how Mary had the best season of her life that summer of 2016, before her life was significantly changed.

And for that, the memories of Mary and her life we will be forever grateful to our PLAY4MARY campaign🎗😇
