Love, Nana is looking for donations!

Our Mission: “Love, Nana” is a Community Service Project presented by the Backyard Players and Friends. We are a volunteer & donation based non-profit whose mission is two-fold, to assist local families in need by providing gently used clothing for babies and creating an inclusive job training and life skills program for our participants.

How can you help?
Donations: Gently used & new baby clothes up to 24 months, small books, baby blankets, small toys. Monetary donations gratefully accepted

When a family has love, kindness, generosity and inclusivity in their hearts the ripple effect of what blossoms has unlimited potential. Love, Nana by Backyard Players & Friends and BackYard Players & Friends have embarked on yet a another way to serve our community and the greater community. Inspired by Nana, Joan Hyland, they have an amazing two-fold mission to provide gently used baby clothes, blankets & books to families in need while establishing an inclusive job training and life skills program. It was wonderful to visit my friends working as a team at their new storefront. One could easily see how these kind-hearted participants enjoyed and took pride in their meaningful work to clean, fold, wrap and box baby clothes, blankets, toys and books. Among these “baby bundles” were a number of specially prepared “care packages” that they donated to my Ukraine Relief Drive.

Thank you to “Nana” Joan Hyland, BYP founders Ellen White, Joan Hyland Kelly and Cristine Hyland Daly for inviting me to see Love Nana in action and for your generous donation to my drive for the Ukrainian people.
