ECJLA president Jeff Martin presented Steve Haynes with the honor of being inducted into the ECJLA Wall of Fame. Steve was unable to attend the show as his daughter’s wedding was at the same time. Also in attendance were Jason Burleson owner of Grooms Polaris who sponsored the Wall of Fame and Edwards County 4-H member and District 10 Council officer Sidney Flynn Peterson. Thank you to Steve for always supporting our youth!

The ECJLA board met tonight and approved the payouts for county. For anyone that can meet on Wednesday, January 7th at 3:30 at the 4-H Barn to write thank you notes, you may get your checks then. If you cannot make this time, Mrs. Gill will have your thank you notes packets available at her store Friday or Saturday 10-4. You may write them there or take them home and bring them back to her. Checks will only be given out once the thank you notes are completed and turned in.

The Edwards County Junior Livestock Show as held on December 13, 2025 at the Spud Tatum Show Barn. Mr. Roy Walston judged the show. This was the largest show in recent history! Doris and Hayden Haby, Sr. were inducted into the Wall of Fame. Steve Haynes is also an inductee and will be honored at a later date as he was attending his daughter's wedding. The addition of the Old Timers Show was a success with Dr. Fred Speck winning the Showmanship, Allen Steiler winning the Oldest, and Corbin Crenwelge winning the Most Nominations.
