Toss for a Cause! Lamar Gumbo Palooza Co****le Tournament
Join us Sunday, June 8th at Pop’s Tavern & Cafe for a fun-filled day of co****le competition — all to raise scholarship funds for Aransas County students attending trade schools and 4-year colleges! 🎓

Schedule:
Check-in begins at 10:30 AM
Doubles tournament starts at 11:00 AM
Singles tournament will start after doubles
Format: Double Elimination
Bring your own bags!

Entry Fees:
$50 per team (Doubles)
$25 per player (Singles)

🏆Prizes will be awarded to 1st & 2nd place winners in both tournaments!

This is an amateur-only event – no professionals or league players, please.

All proceeds go directly toward scholarships for local students. Want to support beyond playing? We’re also accepting prize donations and would love your help!

Saturday, June 7th | Starts at Noon | Pop’s Tavern & Cafe

Join us for an unforgettable day of fun, prizes, and 80s flair — all for a great cause!
Prizes awarded for:
🎭 Best 80s Outfit
♠️ 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Poker Hands

How it works:
There will be 7 stops across Lamar. Participants will be grouped to keep things moving smoothly.
At each stop:

Every player draws a random card (no duplicates!)
Play a quick, fun game
The game winner draws an extra card!
Your best 5 cards will make up your final poker hand.
All proceeds go toward scholarships for Aransas County students pursuing trade schools and 4-year colleges.
