Join the Aransas County Office of Emergency Management for a relaxed and informative Coffee with Emergency Management event on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the NEW Aransas County Community Center (308 North Live Oak St, Rockport, TX 78382).

☕ 10:00 – 10:15 AM: Enjoy free coffee, donuts, and a chance to meet our team
🎤 10:15 AM: Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Geer will kick things off with a presentation focused on hurricane season preparedness, followed by a Q&A session.

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet Aransas County Emergency Management Director, Judge Ray Garza, who will be in attendance to connect with residents and support this important conversation on community readiness.

Learn practical, easy-to-follow tips to help protect your family and property, and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Office of Emergency Management works year-round to prepare, respond, and support Aransas County residents before, during, and after emergencies.

Whether you’re new to the area or a longtime resident, this is a great opportunity to connect, ask questions, and get prepared.

Keep Aransas County Beautiful is looking for groups to support for cleanups in our community. KACB will supply all cleanup supplies needed as well as disposing of the debris collected. If you have a civic group, HOA, church group or just a group of neighbors wanting to clean up a public area or roadside in Aransas County we would love to hear from you. Plant Exchange Saturday!
Keep Aransas County Beautiful sponsored plant exchange at the History Center for Aransas County in Rockport this Saturday, May 2nd from 10-12pm. Bring your plants, cuttings, seeds or just yourself! Last one of the summer. Meet some new friends who love 🪴!!

Keep Aransas County Beautiful sponsored a cleanup with two great Rockport Fulton ISD student groups. We wanted to provide a shout out to both groups. RFISD parent Molly Rose initiated the cleanup with the RFISD Middle School National Junior Honor Society students. Several students came out and they did an unbelievable job. They cleaned around the shoreline of Little Bay. They were amazed at the amount of debris that they picked up.

A second group from RFISD, NJROTC, joined this cleanup. Chief Salas and his group often clean with KACB. Mr. Craven was also amazing working with the students. This group always provides amazing energy.

The outcome of this event was a truck load of litter removed from the shoreline. An amazing 380lbs of small debris was picked up by the students. If you recognize any of these amazing volunteers please thank them for spending their time making our environment a better place. Happy Earth Day!

Join us Saturday April 18th at 9:00am at Little Bay for a cleanup. KACB will be supporting Rockport Fulton ISD NJHS and NJROTC students as they come out to celebrate Earth Day. We will stage in the parking lot next to McDonalds. Everyone is welcome to join the cleanup and support our amazing students. KACB will supply all items needed such as gloves, vest and bags.
