We were happy to once again host our annual Springtime on the Farm ag day event yesterday at the 4-H Fairgrounds for Spencer County 3rd graders! Over 230 students and staff from Lincoln Trail PTO, Luce Elementary School, Saint Bernard Catholic School, Chrisney Elementary, Nancy Hanks Elementary, Rockport Elementary School, and David Turnham were educated about various aspects of agricultural (crops and their byproducts, animals and livestock (including chickens, sheep, goats and cows), dairy and ice cream production, bees and honey production, tractor/PTO safety, hunter and boater safety, Stop the Bleed, 911 emergency management, and soil conservation.
