In front of a packed Historic Evans Field and standing-room-only right field hill, the Rockport Townies struck first; Winning game 1 vs Mariners 3-0.

Kenzie Quinn went the distance and was locked in, allowing just one hit and three batters to reach base.

Danny Hafey had a standout performance scoring a run and catching one Mariner stealing 2nd base.

Game 2 is tomorrow, Tuesday 08/06 in Essex at Annie Gosbee Field. First pitch 5:30.

Tonight’s (Sunday’s) Townies playoff game has been postponed due to rain. Mariners vs Townies Semi-Finals game 1 will be played Monday August 5th at 6:30 P.M. in Rockport

Townies sweep Beverly Sunday night to close the regular season and seal up the 2nd place position heading into the ITL Playoffs.

Playoffs! Rockport defeats Ipswich 16-5 Monday night and clinched a spot in the ITL post-season for the tenth consecutive season. Seeding, opponent and location still TBD. The first playoff game will be Sunday August 4th.

No hitter alert! 🚨 Kyle Beal throws a no-hitter as the Townies defeat the Ipswich Chiefs twice in the doubleheader Sunday at Historic Evans Field.

Game 1: Rockport 4, Ipswich 3. Derick MacDowell had a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th and Sam MacDowell recorded the win pitching.

Game 2: Kyle Beal went the distance allowing no hits as Rockport wins 7-0.

Jameson Kamm had a notable day offensively recording 8 hits.
