Friends of the Aransas County Public Library

Friends of the Aransas County Public Library We are a non-profit organization whose efforts support the Aransas County Public Library. Volunteers are the backbone of Friends of the Library!

We organize fundraising for the library through things like annual and ongoing book sales, raffles, and membership drives. We're looking for people with great ideas and the willingness to donate time and energy to carry out those ideas. Volunteers may do things like create programs for the public (i.e. brown bag lunches and author talks), organize and stock books for the book sales, create and disperse advertising, and much more! Our mission statement is to focus on working to preserve, strengthen, create awareness and appreciation of library services, and raise funds for acquisitions not covered by the budgeted library fund. Becoming a Friend simply entails filling out a membership form annually and paying the dues of your choice.
