Just in case everyone has not heard the Rockmart Lions Club has officially closed. We were not able to bring in new members and it just became more difficult to carry on with club duties. We are so proud of what the club has done for our Community over the last 50 years or so. We had our last get together this past Monday evening and decided to take what was left in our accounts and donate it to some very deserving groups. We were able to donate gifts to the following groups, Murphy Harpst children center, Polk County historical society, Historic Van Wert Church, and Rockmart American Legion.
