The Placer United WPSL II women are back on their home pitch Wednesday night and ready for another exciting showdown!

Fresh off an impressive performance, the women return to Sierra College to take on Iron Rose FC Reserves. Come support these athletes as they proudly represent the black and gold and continue building something special in our inaugural season.

A tremendous run comes to an end for our U19 ECNL girls at the San Diego Surf Cup.

After battling XF Crossfire (WA) to a scoreless 0-0 draw through regulation, the match was ultimately decided by penalty kicks, where the Black & Gold came up just short in a hard-fought quarterfinal showdown.

Now it's time to turn our attention to the U17 ECNL squad, who are still competing!

The U17s take the field today at 9:45 AM in the Surf Cup semifinals as they continue their impressive tournament run versus Rebels FC

QUARTERFINAL BOUND!

The Placer United U19 ECNL girls are moving on at the San Diego Surf Cup after a commanding 2-0 victory over Hawaii Rush!

The journey continues today at 3:10 PM as the Black & Gold take on XF Crossfire with a spot in the semifinals on the line.

Day 3 awaits at the San Diego Surf Cup!

The Placer United ECNL Girls continued to make noise on Day 2 with some outstanding performances against top competition:

⚽ U17 ECNL earned a statement 4-2 victory over former national champions San Diego Surf

⚽ U16 ECNL delivered a dominant 2-0 shutout over Los Angeles Surf

⚽ U19 ECNL battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Legends SC

On the ECNL-RL side, the results didn't fall our way, but the growth and experience gained against quality opponents will only make these teams stronger. Every match is an opportunity to improve, respond, and rise to the next challenge.

Now it's on to Day 3. Keep competing, keep believing, and keep representing the Black & Gold with pride!

After a slow start, Placer United WPSL found its rhythm and delivered a Strong performance, defeating Azteca 6-0 on the road.

Goals coming from Chloe Van Winkle, Anna Price, Riley Brumfield, Cassidy Kelly, Genevieve Grimes, and Bailey Fuller. Getting multiple goals from multiple players shows a complete team performance. Goalkeepers Kennie Thomas and Ellie Ow combined to earn the shutout, Gabby Starr and Stella Grace Tamayo anchoring a back line that limited Azteca's opportunities and kept a clean sheet from start to finish.

The six-goal performance highlights the team's attacking depth and ability to make adjustments on the large O'Neil Park Field. Placer United moves forward with confidence after a complete team effort on both sides of the ball as they take on ASC Sacramento, Sunday 6pm at Sierra College.

Day 2 at the San Diego Surf Cup is underway!

Our older girls ECNL and ECNL-RL squads are off to a strong start after an impressive opening day in San Diego:

⚽ U19 ECNL defeated Los Angeles SC 2-0
⚽ U17 ECNL earned a convincing 3-0 win over Pateadores SC
⚽ U16 ECNL battled Eastside FC to a hard-fought 0-0 draw

⚽ U16 ECNL-RL picked up a solid 3-0 victory over GA Aspire
⚽ U19 ECNL-RL came up just short in a competitive 1-2 match against CFA OC Aspire

The competition only gets tougher from here. Good luck to all teams as they take the field for Day 2!
