These women proudly call themselves "B"s - that is, they call themselves "Broads" as in they are members of the ๐‚๐ซ๐š๐ณ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐š๐๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐’๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐.
Let's give them the "G" word also - as in "Generous." They recently created and donated several items for children to the ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ง'๐ฌ ๐€๐๐ฏ๐จ๐œ๐š๐œ๐ฒ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฏ๐š๐ซ๐.

And they're also contributors to other organizations, including moms' groups, women's shelters and the homeless - or as they call them, "Friends in Need."
They gather about once a month and get their "quilt" on.
"It's just a bunch of old women who get together and sew," said Penny Swire one of the founders of CBQS. "It's wherever we're needed."

Go Dads Go!
The Early Learning Coalition of Brevard on Saturday held a community resource fair in Melbourne aimed at dads and mentors to help get youngsters excited about reading, learning and creativity.

The Center for Collaboration at the Space Coast Health Foundation was the site for the "CHAMP Camp 2026," an annual event for kids put on by the staff of the Children's Advocacy Center of Brevard and funded through the support and generosity of the Friends of the Children's Advocacy Center of Brevard.
Thanks to everyone involved. About 25 kids took part in CHAMP Camp this week. All the smiles were nothing short of a blessing!
