This is unacceptable!!!!!! We need to become a family of tow brothers and sisters again and we need to really start focusing on reaching out to our state representatives, congressmen and women, senators and governors in every state and try and make them realize that our lives just as important to our families just as important like police, firefighters, paramedics are to their families. We need to fight like never before to make the government realize how serious we are and to push for a federal law for the slow down move over penalties to be the same in every state across the country.

Can you see me?
I am the tow truck operator on the side of the road with my lights going while I load someone’s car.
I am the one who shows up to help you unlock your car.
I am the one who jump starts your vehicle.
I the one who takes the call day or night while my family waits and worries.

Can you hear my family?
They are the ones who silently pray every time I go to a call.
They are the ones who scream, cry, beg, & plead when someone hits and kills me.
They are the ones who silently wonder why while breaking inside at my funeral.

Can you see the flashing lights?
The lights that are Red, Blue, Amber lighting up the skies while we work.
The lights that alert you to our presence.
The lights that are there to help us do our jobs.

Can you read?
Read these words and know that one simple action can save our lives.
Read and teach these words to your kids so they can learn to follow them.
Read the obituaries that our families have to endure when you do not follow the law.

Understand these words. They aren’t just something for you to see on FB, signs, posters, bumper stickers.
These are words that save lives so do your part!

SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER WHEN YOU SEE THE FLASHING LIGHTS.
