A new non-profit named Paws Angels is using thermal-imaging drones to search for missing pets from the sky, giving families another tool and another reason to hope.

Some incredible news. Channel 6 heard about our nonprofit and our mission to help lost pets be returned home as well as pets staying in their homes, through multiple programs including thermal drone searches, you mean trapping, microchip programs as well as other outreach. We are so grateful that a resident we were assisting contacted them. Ginger Gladson and her producer came down and stay tuned the segment will be aired tomorrow! How the Paws Angels Program Works

Paws Angels is a nonprofit organization that partners with trusted drone pilots and an experienced trapping team to help reunite lost pets with their families.

If you choose a drone search through the Paws Angels Program, simply tell one of our contracted drone partners that you'd like to use the Paws Angels Program.

Our contracted drone partners never require payment upfront.

Professional drone searches typically cost around $150 per hour.

Paws Angels provides financial assistance to qualifying families. Your responsibility may be as little as $75.

Please follow our non profit and help by sharing. We are needing to spread the word and raise funds for our nonprofit.

So far we have done searches, partnered with a trapper, organized sponsorship with Dr Lopez at VetNest Animal Hospital to provide low cost microchipping and made emergency affordable training accessible with partner Omar Torres of Omar's dog training, in lieu of rehoming. Our goal is not only to bring pets back home to be reunited but help with any service that can keep them in a happy home and out of shelters and rescues.

Our board members have personally been supplementing until we could fundraise legally with the correctly filed IRS and state paperwork.

🇺🇸 4th of July Pet Safety PSA 🇺🇸

At Paws Angels S & R, our mission is reuniting lost pets with the families who love them. We also know the best search is the one that never has to happen.

The Fourth of July is one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets. Fireworks can cause even the calmest dogs and cats to panic, and many pets that go missing have never run away before.

Please take a few simple precautions to help keep your pets safe at home tonight:

🐾 Keep pets indoors before fireworks begin.

🐾 Exercise your dog before dark so later potty breaks can be quick.

🐾 Check your fence and gates for loose boards, gaps, or broken latches.

🐾 Always take your dog outside on a leash during fireworks, even in your own fenced yard.

🐾 Create a quiet, secure room with the TV, a fan, or calming music to help mask the noise.

🐾 Close blinds and curtains to reduce the flashes from fireworks outside.

🐾 Make sure your pet is wearing a collar with a current ID tag, and verify that their microchip information is up to date.

🐾 Be extra careful with doors and gates when family and guests are coming and going.

A few simple precautions tonight can prevent a lifetime of heartbreak.

Today, a dream officially takes flight. 🐾

What began as one small idea rooted in compassion quickly grew into something much bigger with the support of incredible women who believed in the mission from the very beginning.

Paws Angels was created by Leslie Bottesch and brought to life alongside board members Jane Banke, Susan Naylor, and Michelle Van Poyse, united by one shared goal helping reunite lost pets with the families who love them, regardless of financial hardship. Strong minded, compassionate women coming together can create a powerful impact within a community, and we are honored to begin this journey together.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible drone partners, Space Coast Drone Recovery(mid to South) and Drone Geox (mid to North), for standing beside us in this mission.
